Shooter - iPhone Video Review

Shooter is based on the movie of the same name starring Mark Wahlberg. It sees you playing a sniper specialist in the armed forces, who on returning from a tour of duty is set up for the attempted assassination of the President of the US. The rest of the game is spent trying to clear your name, and of course dabble in a spot of sniping! The story is presented in Metal Gear-esque codec sequences, featuring full voice acting which, both tell the story and detail your objectives for that mission.

Old school GTA returns !It's basically a 3D version of the old top-down GTA gameplay, improved with better rendering and lighting. You control the game by pressing "buttons" on the screen, and tilting the iPhone around, and Touch Arcade says it works well. Some missions are apparently tough, but in terms of what GTA is really about -- driving around and generally causing mayhem -- Payback will deliver.

Days of Thunder

Destruction derby for the iPhone , what more could you want ?
The controls are very good. The tilt sensitivity is just right. After a few races, you can really feel the game. There are on-screen gas and brake pedals that are easy to use and when it comes time to pit, a pit button appears on the left side of the screen that is large enough you don't need to lift your hand to reach.
